Meet the Chef
Meet Chef Matthew Apice! Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Chef Matthew Apice grew up cooking with his mother and enjoyed helping prepare their evening meals. Chef Matthew made his love for cooking a profession during his sophomore year of high school where he started to fall in love with food and a bustling kitchen. After high school, Chef Matthew went to the Culinary Institute of America where he learned the foundations and techniques needed to continue his career. Chef Matthew’s journey led him to work in several high-end restaurants before he joined the Aramark Healthcare+ as the executive chef for Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. He now serves as executive chef for Aggie Fresh Co.
